Zirko itself does not use AI. An AI assistant is a program such as Claude or ChatGPT: you type or say what you need, and it answers. If you connect it to Zirko, it works there for you. Then you tell it something like “Create a quote for the Berger family's bathroom remodel” or “Book me 7 to 4 yesterday on the Linden Road job”, and it does it in Zirko.
The connection runs over MCP — the common language such assistants use to work with other programs. You do not need to understand it: you enter an address in your assistant, and Zirko asks you whether you agree.
What the assistant reads is processed by its provider under your contract with that provider — not by Zirko.
Which assistant suits you?
- Claude from Anthropic — works on every plan, including the free one. You set it up in the browser or in the Claude app on your computer and then use it on your phone too. How to connect Claude

Other assistants work too, as long as you can add your own connection over MCP with sign-in there. (Information from the makers, checked on 11 October 2026.)
First: the admin allows it
Settings → Company → AI assistants, switch Allow AI assistants. It is off out of the box, and only Office – Admin can turn it on. Before that, your business has to accept the current version of the terms and of the data processing agreement; they set out what an assistant may do and who is responsible for what. If an acceptance is missing, the switch cannot be turned on, and below it you see Review and accept the terms or Review and accept the agreement.
If your business is based in Italy, it also approves certain clauses separately, as Italian law requires — then you see Review and approve clauses there, and you approve them under Settings → Contract & subscription.
If you turn the switch off, every connected assistant in the business loses access at once.
Connecting
After that, each person connects their own assistant. Under How to connect your assistant you find the address for your assistant with the button Copy address. Where to enter it is explained in the guides for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.

At the end, Zirko opens and asks: “Claude” wants to access Zirko. It shows the business the assistant will work for and your role. Connect grants access, Decline does not. If Zirko does not know the assistant, it says so — then only connect what you have just set up yourself.

What it may do — and what never
An assistant works with your permissions, not more: what you cannot see in Zirko, it cannot see either. The database enforces this, not just the screen.

How the yes works: the assistant first shows you the exact details — document, customer, amount, recipient, and for a cancellation the reason. Only when you agree does Zirko carry it out, with the same checks as on screen. Your yes counts as your own declaration — just as if you had clicked yourself. If it does not come within ten minutes, the request expires. Zirko accepts no more than 20 such actions per person and hour through assistants.
Read what it shows you before you say yes. An assistant also reads other people's texts, such as an incoming invoice. A hidden instruction in it can lead the assistant to propose something you never wanted.
Log and disconnecting
Under What your assistants have done you see, for the last 90 days, what an assistant created or carried out as final — and when assistants were allowed, connected and disconnected. The admin sees it for the whole business. What it only read is not listed there. Final actions of the last seven days also appear in the Done by your assistant card on the overview.
Disconnect is under My assistants — in the office in this tab, in the app under Profile → AI assistants. It takes effect immediately; what the assistant created stays. Each person can only disconnect their own assistant.
